#90 Sew Along Update

I feel like I fell of the quilting planet these last few weeks.....sorry everyone. I had some sort of bug that drained the energy right out of me. I had no desire to do anything...not even sew!!! If you know me, that is not normal. Sewing has been my refuge during the last few years dealing with some health issues. It always makes me happy and keeps my mind occupied and off not feeling so great, so to not want to be in my hobby room was strange indeed.
Good news though I am on the mend and itching to get back into sewing mode, but my sadly neglected flower beds have been mocking me.....so they need to be silenced, lol. So hopefully next week I will be back where I belong and my sewing machine will be humming!!!

After: Just needs some mulch

For those of you who are waiting for the Wiggle Me Colourful Sew Along, have no fear it is still on, but delayed. I had hope to start the beginning of June, but it will more than likely be the end of June now. I hope that doesn't spoil it for anyone. The posts will always be here, though I know that is not the same as following along with everyone else, so I thank you for your understanding everyone.

I am also hoping to have another post up this weekend giving you more details about the sew along itself and some fun goodies and sponsors!!

What I have been doing is experimenting with my Mother's Day gift from my sweet son and his wonderful girlfriend... yummy

The Zoku Popsicle maker freezes the pops in 7-9 minutes. These ones are pineapple coconut, they were delicious!
and then Chocolate fudge: recipe needs tweaking, they tasted great but the texture was grainy.

One other thing I wanted to mention, found this, makes me giggle,  swap going on....if you haven't heard about it, go check it out... on Instagram @abbythingsforboys or here is the link to her website The Selfish Swap or just click on the image below, either should take you there for all the info.

Have a great week everyone!!

  1. Looking so good Sandy, but, in fact, I like Dandelions on the lawn. Lovely stones round the garden light.
