As we get older, health issues arrive that we never knew of and mught still not know the diagnosis for them. Sewing is definitely a therapy for it. It also looks like you are very well equipped. I have a sewing room, but you have a palace! ;-) I love your sense of color, your exact cutting and sewing! I look forward to seeing more! I know we have a couple of stores in Canada, but not sure where. They are a great resource for many here in my area who have such issues. The more cooking you do from whole, unprocessed foods, the better off you are. I wish you good luck and good health. charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14021922531444496300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056137902992034923.post-3965319919486735732014-09-20T23:44:37.981-04:002014-09-20T23:44:37.981-04:00Love your blocks...especially the black & whit...Love your blocks...especially the black & white with that AWESOME strip of color in the middle!! I have IBS with wheat/gluten being an issue. I'm also allergic to most fruits (they make my throat swell shut) and I don't like many vegetables! Funny, the hardest thing to give up is my peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch!! I am trying to substitute lettuce leaves (big Romaine leaves are best) for bread and loading them with tuna, chicken, or turkey with bell pepper strips or crunchy pickles and making a roll-up that way. I can have mayo, but you could try with just mustard. They are good and they feel a bit fancy! It is so hard to give up foods that we love that do awful things to our bodies!! Hang in there and please share any good recipes you find!Farm Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01670652033638218941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3056137902992034923.post-33608699550317166892014-09-20T22:07:25.018-04:002014-09-20T22:07:25.018-04:00I so appreciate hearing about what is "real&q...I so appreciate hearing about what is "real" for you. My mom was diagnosed with Celiac disease when she was about 80 years old! She feels much better with her new diet, though. I recommend listing all the stuff you can think of that you CAN eat...maybe Rice Chex for cereal, fruits, vegetables, potatoes...<br />Your blocks are just brilliant, and my fave is actually the one with the green and yellow rain boots!
