#42 City Sampler 100 Blocks Complete

It's hard to believe that it is finally completed, but here it is!! Not really a lot to say other than thank you to Sara at SewSweetness.com  and the gang (Emily, Julie, Gina, and Kim) who every Monday posted the weeks 3 blocks and had a linky party for us all to show our blocks and stay on track!!

A nine month quest filled with sewing adventures and prizes by the wonderful sponsors Aurifil, Pellon, and Pink Castle Fabrics!! Congratulations to all the monthly winners!! Sew fun!!

If you are thinking about doing the 100 blocks, go for it!! Find a QAL group or dive in on your own or with a friend! I love my quilt!! May not be everyones colour choice, and really wasn't something I thought I'd ever do, but it was different and cheery!! Which through our long, cold, snow and ice filled winter, turned out to be very mood brightening!!

 What I've Been Up To:

I hate having to apologize for pictures, but this is a big quilt and the weather isn't cooperating to be able to take it outside....so this is the best I could do for now!! Hopefully after it is quilted we will get the keeper shot!

Hope it was worth the wait!! :) To everyone on Instagram that I tortured!! ;)

  4. So beautiful! It looks like a delicious swirl of rainbow sherbert! I totally want to eat it. Ok, not really... I'm on a "diet" so pretty much everything looks delicious. Which explains why my mouth started salivating and I thought "rainbow sherbert!" when I saw your completed quilt.
