oh how fun.....2 More test blocks for the Forest Friends pattern from Sew Fresh Quilts!!! I love it when Lorna asks me to help test her patterns...she has some of the cutest animal blocks.....

Adorable if I can say so......

And can it get any more Canadian....ok we could put hockey skates on him.....lol

....all the blocks I have completed...now to assemble....thinking wall hanging.....

And I restocked my depleted flannel stash with some new flannels and brushed cottons....more scarves on the way....check out the tutorial if you missed it here

What are you making this year for gifts? Would love to hear, I need some good ideas!!!

  3. Whoa! Super cute animal blocks! Nice scarf tut too. I'll keep that one in mind for future use. Pinterest!
Christmas - Needle keepers are what I plan to make for my quilting friends. Trying to fit in some quilts for a few toddlers, but that might not be realistic.

  4. It's been so much fun to see your animal blocks appearing in your Instagram feed! You do beautiful work, Sandy! I can't wait to see the wall hanging you are making. Will make a lovely Christmas gift - from the heart! Planning on using this pattern to make a few Christmas gifts myself. I'm thinking cushions and table runners!
