ReplyDeleteAre you really thinking of hosting another BOM?! I was planning on 2017 to be my year to FMQ all the wonderful tops I made during this year's BOM. How about a BOM that uses all the wonderful gadgets we buy? Or one that focuses on how to quilt the blocks?

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this great BOM. I didn't get anywhere near as many going as I would have liked, but the process was fun - lots of inspiration. I'm in Canada!! The majority seems to be for curved piecing, which is great also, or using up precuts, like charms, layer cakes, etc. It's all good!
ReplyDeleteGee, theme? Maybe several kinds of improv? Curves are also fun. I'm in Canada.
ReplyDeleteUSA - Seasonal.

ReplyDeleteHmmm... So many ideas, maybe just a sampler quilt, with different techniques used in each block, like curves in one, paper piecing for another, applique, etc... I like doing different things so this sounds like fun to me. I am from Montana, USA.

ReplyDeleteThese blocks, each set, have been fantastic, and with other options, and so many colourways, wonderful to see what other quilters have chosen for their fabrics. I haven't joined in every one, but so enjoyed the ones I did. 2017, another set? You are a whizz, and I hope we will get the chance to join in again. New Zealand, down here we are in springtime, bulbs flowering, cherry tree buds almost in blossom, green grass growing, and warmer days.

This is my first time here. I love your quilts and will just come back to see what you have chosen for your next BOM. I noticed some people suggested blocks with curves. That sounds interesting and I know curves can be a little intimidating. So the practice would be good. Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway!
