#43 Labels

I posted a picture on Instagram the other day of my label, that I had forgotten again to add to a finished product. Which results in me stitch ripping a little space to add it in!! lol It is absolutely ridiculous that I keep forgetting!! I love the labels and have them stuck to the cork board right at my sewing area!!

Okay, maybe I should clean it up a bit!! lol
Anyway, the response I had from the post made me think that maybe I should post a little more info here.

The logo on the right is the link to:  ikaprint!  (or for today so is the word ikaprint) You will also see a coupon code upstairshobbyroom to save you 5% on an order.

I have placed 3 orders to date, 2 for me in two different sizes and layouts, and one for my mother-in-law. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of hers, they were blue with silver print. They were lovely too!!
I have nothing but good to say about each time I have emailed and asked for help designing a label, Feyza is always prompt to answer and help, the labels come quickly, and have always been exactly like the proof I approved!! Fantastic company!!

This is what I can tell you....I didn't have a clue what I was doing the first time I went over to look at labels. There are a lot of options and I was over whelmed!! So I did nothing. Than I went back looked around again and sent off an email to Feyza telling her what I was looking for... a basic white, clearly readable label. She was more than helpful, I placed my order according to her help, and very quickly I had a proof to ok.

As soon as I approved the proof, the order is started. Within  about 3 weeks I had my first labels!!

Then I decided I needed a smaller label for projects that I might sell or didn't require as much information on them. So again I emailed Feyza!! She is fantastic. If you know your way around graphics you can design your own and send that to her too!! Which would be awesome if I had a clue!!lol

Again I was looking for simple white, though she has many colours to choose from.

On this project I actually used both labels! The full label on the inside of the "pouch" I made for the Sweet Pouch Exchange, and the small label on the outside (designer label!!) And I included the other picture so you can see the difference!!

And lastly here is the proof for my Mom's and an idea for maybe my next label!!

  1. I forget to add a label half the time too! How do yours stand the washing machine? Mine, I think, will fade over time. Sadly!!! I am always on the lookout for better ones.

  3. It took me a long time to order because of being unsure of what to do. The last time I went to IKAPRINT's etsy page I noticed she had a link to a website where you could design them directly on the site! I designed it there and ordered it there, but didn't use the coupon code (I assumed WRONGLY it had expired). So I don't know if the coupon code would work on the website, but I would still go there, figure out what you want and then order on the Etsy site with the information obtained from the ikaprint.com site. Just FYI!

  5. This is just what I needed to read! I have had a tab open on my computer for this site for literally 6 months!!! I had no idea what to pick or how to design it. I am totally going to just email her and see if she can get me something picked out. Thanks Sandy:)

  10. Thank you for sharing your experience with labels. I too have thought about it, gone to a website and just blanked out as I didn't know where to begin. I think I will follow your lead and give it another try! They look fantastic and give your product a finished look!
